Location/Remote: Onsite in Cedar Park, TX (i.e., 5 days onsite/week)

Employment Type: 6-month W-2 contract (possibility of extension or conversion to direct hire after 6-months)

Compensation: up to $28/hour, with overtime available

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Overtime: Expect opportunities for overtime, including potential weekend work.

No On-Call: This position does not require on-call duties.

We're looking for dedicated Assembly Technicians to join our team, working on our innovative products. We have two distinct 6-month contract openings available: one for an entry-level technician and another for an experienced professional. While these are initially contract roles, there's a possibility of extension or direct hire for quick learners who prove to be a great fit.

Responsibilities:

• Perform precise assembly of components, including intricate parts for pressure vessels.
• Thoroughly inspect parts for imperfections like scratches and ensure proper fit of seals and gaskets, similar to engine overhaul procedures.
• Accurately read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics.
• Execute detailed tasks such as wire trimming, shaping, and grinding using tools like a Dremel.
• Operate various hand tools and potentially equipment like forklifts.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers for quality control.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications:

• 1 – 3+ years of experience in a mechanical assembly, automotive, or industrial setting.
• Previous experience with overhauling engines, transmissions, or similar complex mechanical systems is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
• Familiarity with pressure vessel components or similar sealed systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with hand tools and precision instruments.
• Comfortable with wire trimming, shaping, and grinding techniques.
• Experience with electrical components or systems is a bonus, but strong mechanical skills are the priority.
